The meeting also witnessed another milestone in the Charity’s history as Ian Stewart stepped down as Chairman of Trustees after 11 years in the role. Ian will remain a Trustee and will take up the Vice Chairman’s role. Under Graham and Ian’s leadership the Homes has seen the building of the Alice Hudson Bungalows, the redevelopment of both Simmons and Chitty Houses, the development of the Millennium Gardens, the new laundry block and the extension to the residents’ Lounge. |

Once again our Summer Fair held in July proved to be a great success raising a grand total of £2,000. Many stalls were to be found in the gardens and the communal lounge all of which were manned by residents, friends and relatives.

Care Wing Staff rewarded for service at AGM |

 Staff in the Care Wing were presented with long service awards by the Homes’ Patron The Duchess of Devonshire at the recent AGM on 21st July.
